I’ve built Gillespedia and that’s not changing. It’s very unstructured.
There’s also my Data Journal, which isn’t changing. It’s very structured.

I want to know how to conquer what lay between those two realms. Semistructured data. Something like what’s behind Wikidata.

Plaintext patterns, composability, & basic tools

Can a property graph network be built with basic tools, opt-in ontology hooks, and tools that come with every machine out of the box? Dabbling around with Writing an ArchiMate Patterns eBook

If you know what ArchiMate is, you’ve probably found the ArchiMate Cookbook in the past. The creator of that has moved on, and ArchiMate has changed. I have a lot of fun seeing what and how I can express in the language. So I’m working on putting something together to put out there for new or potential practitioners.

Puzzle Box 2026

I’ve begun honing in on this year’s puzzle box. Goals include ease of manufacture, and another “physical component optional” box. Those two goals seem in line with one another.
